When The Student Is Ready, The Teacher Appears

We all have experiences in life that change us. Experiences that shift the way we look at the world.

It can be an article that we read that we feel is speaking to us, and only us. A quote on Instagram that we feel was there just for us to see. A person who shares a story which felt like it was ours to hear.

Something that means nothing to us at one point in time can mean everything to us at a later point.

Did you ever read a book or an article and underline the ideas that seemed the most important? When you pick up the book later, you might wonder why you chose to underline those specific words.

There are now other words in this book that speak to you much more strongly.

You are a different person now than when you first read it. You have grown, your circumstances might be different and your view of the world might have shifted.

For me, this clip was one of them.

I have seen it before but when I saw it now, the message punched me in the gut. I guess it’s true how the saying goes: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears”.
