Some thoughts on the curse of knowledge
"The curse of knowledge is a cognitive bias that occurs when an individual, who is communicating with other individuals, assumes they have the background knowledge to understand." Wikipedia
The key to understanding, and great storytelling, is to take the person you communicate with on a journey.
From where they are, across the bridge (your story), to the understanding you're wanting them to have.
Knowing what you know + what others don't is a skill that matters.
Sometimes I think the art of storytelling is the most important skill in the world.
